01
Your private journal
Dream Journal entries and voice recordings are stored locally in your browser on your current device. They are not automatically uploaded to Dreamers Edge, an AI provider, or any cloud database.
Local entries may be lost if you clear browser data, remove the site’s storage, or lose access to the device. Written entries can be exported as a JSON backup. Voice recordings are not included in that backup.
02
Optional private account sync
You may create an account and explicitly enable cloud sync on a browser or device. Creating an account alone does not upload existing journal entries. When you enable sync, written dream fields on that device are copied to your private account so they can be accessed after signing in elsewhere.
Account authentication and cloud records are provided through Supabase. Database ownership rules restrict dream and relationship-reflection rows to the signed-in account that created them. Voice recordings remain in local browser storage and are not uploaded by account sync.
You can turn sync off on a device without deleting existing account copies. To delete cloud data, delete individual synced dreams while sync is active or contact us for an account deletion request.
03
Sharing is a separate choice
If you use “Send privately to Dreamers Edge,” only the dream and contact details shown in that confirmation form are transmitted privately. “Publish to Dream Community” is a different action with a public preview and separate author and location controls. Saving a journal entry, using Dream Brain, or syncing an account does not publish it.
Personal notes and voice recordings are never included in the sharing form. Additional pattern or wellbeing details are included only when you select those options.
Submitting a consultation request is also a separate action. It sends only the contact, scheduling, and optional consultation-focus information entered in that booking form.
04
Public Dream Community
Every dream is private by default. A confirmed, signed-in member must choose a saved written dream, prepare a separate public copy, review a preview, and actively publish it before it can appear in the Dream Community. Editing or deleting the public copy does not edit or delete the original private journal entry.
A member may publish under their display name or as “Anonymous Dreamer.” Anonymous publishing hides the account identity from other members, but Dreamers Edge retains the internal account ownership link needed for editing, blocking, abuse prevention, and moderation.
Location sharing is off by default. If enabled for one public dream, the community stores and displays only the city, state or region, and country entered by the member. The community does not request or publish a street address, ZIP-level location, GPS coordinate, live location, or user-specific latitude and longitude.
Public copies may include the reviewed title, narrative, dream date, selected public tags, general dream flags, author choice, comment setting, and optional general location. They never include private notes, dream time, sleep-quality data, private people or place lists, email, account metadata, or voice recordings.
Comments, replies, reactions, reports, and blocks are associated with the signed-in account for ownership and safety enforcement. Reports enter a review queue and do not ordinarily hide content by themselves. Content may be hidden later through moderation or severe automated safety action.
05
Information we may receive
- The selected dream title, narrative, and dream date.
- Your name, email address, and phone number when entered in a sharing or consultation form.
- Your preferred consultation date, time, and optional consultation notes.
- Your reason for sharing and any message you add.
- Optional dream details you choose to include, such as mood, recurring or lucid status, people, places, symbols, colors, animals, sleep quality, or nightmare intensity.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the submission service, such as request time and limited network information used for abuse prevention.
06
How submitted information is used
We use voluntary dream submissions to read and respond to your message, understand community interests, improve Dreamers Edge experiences, and protect the submission service from abuse.
Consultation information is used to review availability, contact you, arrange payment, and coordinate the requested appointment.
We do not sell shared dreams, booking details, or contact information. A submission does not grant permission to publicly reproduce your dream, use your identity in promotional material, or enroll you in marketing.
07
Where submissions go
Dream and consultation submissions are sent through Resend, an email-delivery provider, to dreamersedgefoundation@gmail.com, a Google Gmail account used by Dreamers Edge Foundation. Email content and delivery metadata are processed by those providers to transmit and store the message.
When configured, Twilio sends a brief consultation alert to the Dreamers Edge booking phone. The alert contains the requester’s name, requested date and time, and consultation price; contact details remain in the booking email.
Supabase provides account authentication and database storage for written dreams and saved relationship reflections when you enable account sync.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, financial information, government identifiers, medical records, or information about another person that you do not have permission to share.
08
Your choices and requests
You may continue using the private journal without sharing anything. Before submitting, you can review the selected dream, omit optional detail groups, or cancel. Consultation notes are optional, and a requested appointment is not final until availability is confirmed.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of a voluntary submission by emailing dreamersedgefoundation@gmail.com from the address used in the submission. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
09
Children’s privacy
The online dream-sharing and consultation forms are intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect submissions or contact details through these forms from children. A parent or legal guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us so we can review and delete it.
10
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Dreamers Edge evolves or its service providers change. The date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes to how voluntary submissions are handled will be reflected here before the updated practice is enabled.
